Register for the Pink Ladies 10th Anniversary Blitz!

Bringing together EVERYONE who's ever been a Pink Lady to celebrate over 10 years of our wonderful club community… time to get the gang back together where it all began for Pink Ladies Hockey Club, with one last hockey-hit to wrap up the 2022 season!

The PINK LADIES HOCKEY BLITZ is happening on Saturday 29th October - kicking off at midday, we're taking over the Patterson Pitch in UCD – home to the first ever Pink Ladies training session back in 2011 – for a day of hockey blitz action involving all Pink Ladies past and present who want to throw their sticks in.

Then, it’ll be straight to Farmer Browns in Clonskeagh for the after-party... we'll have access to showers and changing facilities in UCD Sports Centre if you insist upon washing - however, in the fine tradition of Pink Ladies tournaments, going straight out in your shportshgear will certainly not be frowned upon!

The Pink Ladies Hockey Blitz is a ticketed event, priced at €15.00 (inclusive of Eventbrite’s fees). Your ticket covers entry into the  tournament, pitch hire and insurance costs, and delicious post-match platters in the pub afterwards. No max-capacity - the more, the merrier - a whole lotta fun, and prizes to be won!

Registration is open NOW and for planning purposes the PL10 Sub-Committee Elves kindly ask that all participants sign up as soon as possible, and by Friday 14th October at the absolute latest. 

You don't have to arrange a team - simply register yourself, we'll look after the rest. If you haven't played hockey for a while, or still feel new to the game, please don't let that put you off - in true Pink Ladies style, the blitz will be organised in a manner which facilitates the max-craic for ALL involved!

Please note that anyone playing hockey on the day must wear a gum-shield and shinguards in order to participate in the blitz.  Also please note that participation in Hun-Bun Happy Hour at the afterparty is mandatory.
